What could possibly be better than a delicious, gourmet meal shared with friends? The answer is a Dinner and a Movie served up at home – gourmet style. We did this for a year with friends and it was a huge hit.
Each couple or person would host a dinner at their home and select a movie with ‘food’ as an integral part of the plot and then ask the other couples or singles to prepare an appetizer or dessert based on the foods in the movie. The host or hostess would supply the wine, beer or specialty drink along with a beautifully decorated table inspired by the movie’s theme.
I guess you could call it a ‘plot luck’ dinner.
